Celebrating Nature – a poem…

Prompt: From Eugi’s Moonwashed Musings:

Let one or more words in my poem be your inspiration.

cascading luminescence…

celebrating nature…

orchestrated beauty…

From silent dawn to twilight’s softest gleam,
Nature unfolds, a captivating dream.
A symphony of emerald and gold,
Where ancient tales in whispered winds are told.

The oak tree, steadfast, reaching for the light,
Its rugged branches, strong against the night.
Below, a carpet, emerald, soft, and deep,
Where tiny wonders stir and secrets sleep.

The wildflower’s blush, a vibrant, fleeting art,
Each fragile petal playing its sweet part.
The river, winding, with a silver gleam,
Reflects the heavens, like a waking dream.

It carves the valleys, sings a timeless song,
As life and current gracefully move along.
Above, the birds, in chorus, clear and true,
Their melodies a vibrant, morning hue.

From hidden nests, a fledgling’s gentle cry,
A testament to life beneath the sky.
The sun’s embrace, a warmth upon the land,
Invites the creatures, with a gentle hand.

The buzzing bee, on pollen-laden wing,
A vital dancer, bringing forth the spring.
And when the moon ascendant, casts its glow,
The shadowed forest whispers, soft and low.

A sense of peace, a stillness, calm and deep,
While nature’s secrets gently fall asleep.
Oh, orchestrated beauty, ever grand,
A masterwork across this precious land.
From smallest dewdrop to the mountain’s height,
A celebration of life, and pure delight.
