How do you balance work and home life?

In reality , I don’t need to balance my work/home life. I have been retired for over 10 years, so, for me it’s a home/home balance. 😅🤣😂 But here’s a short, but not very good poem anyway…

“The Juggling Act”

Oh, balancing work and home, you say?

It’s like juggling cats while riding a unicycle, okay?!

You answer emails while cooking dinner,

Burn the roast but you’re still a winner!

The boss wants reports, the kids want play,

So you type one-handed while building LEGO all day.

“Mum, where’s my homework?”

“The bills are late!”

You whisper, “Please, take me away…”

but it’s just your fate.

You Zoom in pajamas (just waist up, of course),

While secretly hiding a tantrum’s full force.

Some days you’re winning, some days you’re wrecked,

But every day you’re multitasking like heck!

So laugh when it’s messy, breathe through the strife,

“Balance” is fiction, just enjoy the wild ride of life! 😆

(Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got laundry to fold…

…or maybe I’ll just leave it ‘til it walks off on its own.)
