What are your favourite emojis?

The grinning face, a yellow blight,
With eyes squeezed shut, and teeth so white.
It pops up often, out of place,
A saccharine and forced embrace.

The winky eye, a knowing leer,
Suggesting jokes that aren’t quite clear.
Is it a tease? A friendly nudge?
Or just a digital, awkward judge?

The loudly crying, streaming tears,
For minor woes and fleeting fears.
A dramatic flair, a touch extreme,
A tiny tantrum in a stream.

The clapping hands, a constant praise,
For mundane acts in countless ways.
A digital applause so loud,
Lost in the ever-scrolling crowd.

The face with tongue, a silly plea,
For understanding, wild and free.
But often used with little thought,
A childish notion, dearly bought.

Oh, little icons, bright and bold,
Your overuse can leave me cold.
A subtle nuance you can miss,
Lost in emoji-laden bliss.
