What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
The Five F’s I Can’t Live Without
A Survival Guide in Rhyming Doubt
I once tried a life with no Faith in the mix,
Just me and my socks and my odd bag of tricks.
But soon I was lost — like a goose with no clue,
So I prayed, “Lord, I’m done! Now please help me through!”
Then came my dear Family — chaotic and loud,
We argue like seagulls, yet boy am I proud.
From toddlers with jam hands to grandmas who knit,
If love were a circus, well… this is it!
And Food — oh sweet mercy, now that I must praise,
Three meals? Try seven. Plus snacks in a daze.
A fridge full of leftovers calls in the night,
“Come nibble, you legend, you culinary knight!”
Now Fun — yes, that rascal — it’s vital, you see,
Like dancing with socks on a freshly waxed spree.
Board games at midnight, a well-timed dad joke,
The kind where folks groan while pretending to choke.
And Frolics? Oh please, don’t leave them behind,
That’s running through sprinklers with joy on your mind.
Or dressing the cat in a tiny top hat,
(It didn’t go well — we still laugh about that.)
So if ever I vanish, please do take note,
No need for a search team, canoe or a goat.
Just gather these Five and I’ll show up somehow—
Probably eating, and wearing a robe or a coat.
