Impulsive Nature – a three stanza Haiku.

Each stanza stands alone as a haiku while subtly connecting through themes of nature and fleeting beauty.

impulsive nature
a sparrow darts through the reeds,
startling the still pond

lauds summer in floral dress
sunlight spills gold through the trees,
painting the warm grass

intoxicating
the scent of ripe peaches lingers
on the evening breeze
