If You Could Be Any Fictional Character, Who Would It Be?

If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?

“Who Shall I Be?

Oh, if I could be a chap from a tale,

With swagger and wit (and maybe some ale),

I’d pick someone grand, or silly, or sly—

Here’s who might catch my whimsical eye!

Sherlock Holmes—so sharp, so keen,

But his brooding might make me a bit too lean.

James Bond—so smooth, so bold, so slick,

But all those near-death scares? No thanks, that’s sick!

Willy Wonka—a candy king!

But Oompa-Loompas? A troubling thing.

Hagrid—big heart, and pets galore,

Though spider friends? I’d bolt out the door!

Mr. Darcy—oh, that pride!

(And wet shirts won’t help my ego inside.)

Jack Sparrow—mad, drunk, and free,

But I’d lose the map (and probably the sea).

So who’s left? A hero? A clown?

A wizard who’s known upside-down?

Harry Potter—too much stress,

Bilbo Baggins—hobbit-sized mess!

At last I’ve found my perfect fit—

Paddington Bear! (Well… mostly.)

With marmalade joy and a hat so neat,

A bear in London can’t be beat!

But wait—he’s not human! Oh dear, oh my,

Perhaps I’ll just stay… me. (But I’ll still eat pie.)
