What do you wish you could do more every day?

I wish I could wake with the rising sun,

A mind full of wonder, a heart on the run.

To sit with my coffee, in soft morning light,

And read a good book till the world feels just right.

~

I’d wander through pages of stories untold,

Where heroes are brave and wisdom is gold.

I’d scribble down verses, let words freely flow,

Like rivers that dance with a rhythm they know.

~

I’d walk through the trees, hear whispers of leaves,

Feel poetry drift on a soft passing breeze.

Watch birds weave sonnets with wings in the air,

Find meaning in moments both quiet and rare.

~

I’d ponder the stars in the hush of the night,

Write letters to dreams in the glow of moonlight.

To live in a world spun from stories and rhyme—

Oh, if only each day could be shaped so divine!
