I’m Going on a Cross-Country Trip

I’m going on a journey wide,
Through mountains tall and oceans wide.
But how to travel? What’s my way?
A choice to make—let’s start today!

An airplane soars with mighty grace,
Through clouds it flies, a grand embrace.
With speed and height, I’ll reach so far,
Yet miss the sights down where they are.

A train will hum along the track,
A rhythmic song, no need to pack.
Through valleys deep and rivers blue,
The world rolls by in golden hue.

A bus is simple, steady, slow,
Through city streets and towns we go.
With strangers near and stories bright,
Each stop’s a chance for new delight.

A car gives freedom, turn the key,
The road ahead belongs to me.
Stop where I wish, take any lane,
A map, some tunes, and not much strain.

A bike—now that’s a daring feat,
With wind and sun, the ride’s so sweet.
Each mile earned, each hill a test,
But oh, the journey feels the best!

So what to choose? I just can’t say,
Perhaps I’ll try them all one day!
For every road and sky so free,
Holds endless wonders—wait for me! 🚗✈️🚲🚂🚌
