Golden blooms open,
morning drips in honeyed light,
soft winds sip their fill.
Petals kiss the sun,
bees hum songs of fleeting joy,
dew melts on my tongue.
To sup sweet nectar,
one drop lingers on my lips,
a taste of the dawn.
