If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?

If I Could Be Someone Else for a Day
If I could be someone else for a day,
I’d pick someone rich—just to see how they play.
I’d waltz through mansions, eat lobster and steak,
Then promptly forget how much money I make.
Or maybe a wizard with powers so grand,
I’d levitate coffee right into my hand.
I’d summon my laundry to fold with a flick,
And poof! My dishes—gone in a trick!
Perhaps a rock star with crowds all around,
Screaming my name at a stadium sound.
But knowing my luck, I’d trip on the stage,
Go viral at once—and not in a good way.
A detective could be a fun role to try,
Solving a mystery with a keen, watchful eye.
But with my attention span—well, let’s just say,
I’d forget the clues and wander away.
A cat might be nice, just lounging all day,
Judging the humans in my aloof way.
Demanding some treats with a flick of my tail,
Ignoring their calls like I’m reading an email.
But honestly, I think I’ll just stick to me,
It’s weird, but it fits—like old denim, you see.
And though I might trip, get lost, or just stray,
At least I’m myself at the end of the day!
