Nature’s unpretending – a poem.

The sun dips low, a fiery kiss,

On rooftops, trees, and fields of green.

The wind whispers secrets, soft and low,

Through leaves that dance in golden sheen.

A robin sings an unpretending tune,

As shadows stretch and day grows dim.

A firefly blinks at a silent moon,

A gentle lullaby, a calming hymn.

The world slows down, a peaceful sigh,

As stars begin to softly gleam.

The day is done, the night draws nigh,

A simple beauty, a tranquil dream.

Simplicity summoned, in the quietest hour,

A gentle peace, a calming power.
