Share one of the best gifts you’ve ever received.

I am stretching this prompt from ‘ Share the best gift,’ to the ‘share the best 9 gifts.’
Firstly, there is my wonderful wife. How she puts up with me is something that amazes all our friends. She is loving and patient, looks after our house and our finances with great skill. As stated in a previous post, I’m not good with money, personal money that is. It was different when I was working. I’ve been a director in a major UK engineering company, run my own business and been a trustee of a charity. Corporate money I am good at, personal finance, I suck! But, 47 years on and we are still happy and having fun, (48 years in April).
I have three children and five grandchildren, these are the greatest gift that can be given. My eldest daughter was born in 1979, 2 years after we were married. We then had a 10½ pound boy in 1981, followed by another girl in 1986. These three have brought me the greatest joy, and the biggest heartaches as well. I have a favourite eldest daughter, a favourite son and a favourite youngest child.
My eldest lives about 100 miles away and has two beautiful and intelligent daughters. My son is on the other side of the world in Australia with his wife and son. Their boy is extremely talented in everything he does and is a credit to his parents, he’s 10, and while some of his peers are learning to read, he is already writing his first novel. He’s also a superb artist, musician and photographer. My younger daughter lives just around the corner. It is such a joy having them so close, we see her and her two mischievous little imps every few days. They always make me smile, sometimes even weep with joy. They are all very precious to me. Also very bright, these two boys will amaze us all in a few years.
We have regular video calls on a Sunday morning before we go to church. Even our youngest from a few hundred yards away joins in, so all the family is involved. They only last half an hour or so, but it helps us all catch up with what’s happening in our lives.
Psalm 127:3-5 NIV
Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. [4] Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. [5] Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
My quiver is full, my joy is complete.
