Foretelling or foreboding, a fearful apprehension,
Through misty veils, a future’s dim extension,
Echoes of past and whispers of tomorrow,
Draped in a cloak of shadow and sorrow.
–
A hesitant heart, in twilight’s grip,
Uncertain path where foot might slip,
Yet courage stirs within the night,
A spark of hope, a guiding light.
–
Together forever, forever apart,
A fraction of love for you here in my heart.
A love overwhelming, but fickle and kind,
Eternally together and always entwined.
–
Destiny’s threads, in hands unseen,
Weaving dreams in silver sheen,
Foretelling or foreboding, time will show,
The journey’s beginning, but where we will go?
So, forgiving or forgiven, we just don’t know how it ends
Will we be forever lovers or will we be just friends?
